Eon Update

Greetings Blog Readers,
My book, Eon, has gotten REALLY good! If you chose to read this book, stick with it until about the 140 page mark. Then you can decide whether or not you like it. The book throws a "curve ball" into the story around then and makes the book at lot more exciting and clear. Regretfully I probably cannot speak more about the book, becasue I don't want to give any major points away.
Until Next Time,
Brian

Eon By Alison Goodman

Currently I am reading Eon by Alison Goodman. It is about a girl pretending to be a boy so that she can compete to be chosen by the Rat Dragon. There is a dragon for every sign of the zodiac. If I was in the book I would be worshiping the Pig Dragon, but the book isn't about me. Every 12 years candidates become apprentices, apprentices become Dragoneyes, and Dragoneyes become retired. If you are a Dragoneye your Hua, or soul, becomes drained as you live. So, by the time that your 12 years are up you will look like you have aged way beyond 12 years. Right now I am at a point where the reader finds out if Eon becomes the apprentice. So far I am enjoying the book, but some of the terms they use are kind of confusing. As I read further I will continue to post and keep you updated.

Introduction

I'm going to start off this blog by telling you somethings about myself. I am currently in a free blogging class at the Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications, I like math, I do a lot of community service, and I like to read Fantasy books. Probably by now you're saying to yourself, 'hey, when is this person going to stop talking about himself and tell us what this is about.' You may now stop wondering. My goal is to give my opinion about the books I am currently reading (and also some books that I've already read that stick in my memory).
